Mochi Mode ("the app", "we") is operated by innerbuilder, an individual developer based in the Republic of Korea. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: the app works on your phone only. We have no servers that hold your data, no accounts, and no feed. Your Screen Time and Health information stays on your device.
The app stores the following only on your device:
We do not collect, sell, share, or transmit your Screen Time data. We do not use it for advertising, marketing, or profiling.
If you choose to connect Apple Health, the app can read only the kinds you select: steps, sleep, and workout minutes. This is used to fill in your activity log and to avoid counting sleep hours as lock time.
Reminders (such as your morning harvest) are scheduled locally on your device. We do not use a push-notification server. You can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings.
Mochi Plus subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment card or Apple ID details. To manage subscription status, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives an app user identifier it generates for you (anonymous), your purchase and subscription history and status (product, dates, renewal/cancel state), and basic device and app information such as platform, app version, and country. It does not receive your Screen Time or Health data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
The current version of Mochi Mode sends no analytics, session-replay, or crash-report data. We will update this policy before any release that turns such a tool on.
Version 1 has no sign-in and no Mochi Mode server. We cannot see your data, so we cannot look up, export, or sell it. Share cards are images the app creates on your phone. They are sent only when you choose to share one through the iOS share sheet, to the app and person you pick. By default a card hides your phone usage time; you control what it shows. After you share a card, what the recipient does with it is outside our control.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use data for advertising. We do not use any third-party advertising SDKs.
Mochi Mode is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us at the address below.
Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app deletes it. Note that if you use iCloud device backup, a copy of the app's data may be in your backup until you remove it (iOS Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Storage). To ask about purchase records held by RevenueCat, contact us and we will help you submit the request. Because those records use an anonymous ID rather than your name, we may ask you for purchase details (such as your Apple receipt) to find them.
Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal information. We hold very little, and most of it sits on your device under your control. Contact us to make a request.
Data on your device is protected by iOS. Data sent to the third-party services above is sent over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you in the app. If we ever add a server, accounts, or social features (planned for a later version), we will update this policy before they launch.
