These terms are between you and innerbuilder, an individual developer based in the Republic of Korea ("we") for the Mochi Mode iOS app. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Mochi Mode measures your daily phone use with Apple's Screen Time features, lets you lock apps you choose, and rewards days you use your phone less than your own baseline with in-app progress (a mascot and camp). You need an iPhone with iOS 18 or later and must grant Screen Time permission for measurement and locking to work. Measurements are approximate: iOS reports usage in coarse steps, so totals can be lower than actual use. Features may change over time.
Sunshine is a non-monetary in-app reward earned by using your phone less. It has no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, or transferred, and cannot be redeemed for money. It may be used only for in-app items. We may adjust how it is earned or spent to keep the app fair or working.
Don't misuse the app: no reverse engineering, tampering with measurements to gain rewards, circumventing purchase checks, interfering with the app's operation, or breaking the law. You are responsible for what you choose to share from share cards.
Mochi Mode is a self-improvement tool, not a medical or mental-health service. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Health information shown comes from you and Apple Health and is not medical advice. Talk to a qualified professional about health concerns. Do not rely on app locks in emergencies; you can always remove locks or use Settings.
How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
The app, mascot, art, and content belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on your Apple devices under Apple's standard terms. Share cards you create may be shared by you personally; don't use our branding commercially.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that measurements will be exact.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. Sections that by nature should survive will.
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app and is not responsible for claims about it; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Korea, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.
